Among Сretaceous-Рalaeogene fl ysch of Ukrainian Carpathians, olistolits mainly composed of exotic rocks and not known in native occurrence in this region often occur.

Definition the age of olistolites and time of their destruction and their redeposition in to the younger, Cretaceous or Paleogene sediments of Carpathian geosynclinal sedimentary basin, are important for the detaization of the geological history and paleogeograph of this region during the Cretaceous and Paleogene, defi nition the age of volcanic activity, deep structure of the Carpathians which not well grounded paleontologicly, deep drilling or geophysical data.
